Deerah Customization Experience
Our frictionless process consists of 3 simple steps that take into consideration your dream design, budget & time.
1) Consultation Call
In your consultation call we will talk about all design aspects including but not limited to;
- Event type or theme: Each event should have its own special look (wedding, engagement, Henna, nikkah, katb ktab and more
- Your desired silhouette, fabric and color palettes
- Embroidery type and placement (machine vs hand embroidery)
- Motifs: This includes thread color palette and meaning/symbols you would like to incorporate in your design
- Accessories (shawls, headpieces, etc.)
2) Design Process
After the consultation call, our team puts together a rough sketch of the design & a proposal.
In the event that a detailed design is requested, an additional design fee of $350 shall be paid in advance. Upon receipt of this payment, we will provide a complete tech pack, which includes:
- A detailed illustration for both front and back
- A technical drawing for both front and back
- Actual motif design with specified colors
- Embroidered fabric swatch
This fee is non-refundable and separate from the price mentioned in this proposal.
You can also request fabric swatches. The first minor design change is free, after that, changes are priced according to complexity & time needs.
3) Implementation
Hand-embroidery clothing & accessoriesare done by Palestinian refugees handstitching in Deerah's offices in Amman, Jordan. We ensure sustainable income and the continuity of Tatreez.
Production time varies depending on the amount of embroidery.
- Hand-embroidered designs take 1-6 months
- Machine-embroidered designs take 1-2 months
After embroidery is finished, your design will be assembled, dry cleaned and packed for shipping.
